On April 17, 2023, CCAAIBWS Member Schools’ educators and professionals gathered online to participate in a professional development session on “Transdisciplinary Learning”. The session was expertly facilitated by Kamilla Orujova, Primary Principal at EAS, who shared her valuable insights and practical strategies for implementing transdisciplinary learning in the classroom.

The session was designed to provide educators with new and innovative ways of teaching students, and to encourage collaboration and sharing of ideas. Participants were given the opportunity to engage with Ms Kamilla and learn from her vast experience and expertise in the field of transdisciplinary learning.

The interactive nature of the session allowed for a productive and engaging learning experience, with participants able to ask questions and contribute to the discussion.

“Transdisciplinary Learning” is an important approach to education that aims to break down the traditional silos between subjects and encourage a more holistic approach to learning. This approach is particularly relevant in the current education landscape, where the world is becoming increasingly interconnected and students require a broad range of skills to succeed in the workforce.

The success of the online professional development session is a testament to the importance of ongoing learning and development in the field of education. With the rapid pace of technological and societal change, it is more important than ever for educators to stay up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches and teaching strategies.

We extend our thanks to Ms Kamilla for sharing her knowledge and expertise with the participants, and we look forward to more engaging and informative professional development sessions in the future.
