The IBSEA Egypt IB Schools Association Conference, hosted at Modern English School Cairo, commenced with a distinguished opening that brought together leading figures from the international education community.
Mr. Francesco Banchini, Chairman of CCAAIBWS, participated in a series of discussions, engaging with key representatives including Ghada Dajani, President of IBSEA; Jean-Christopher Goris, IB Head of Development for AEM; Abeya Fathy, Vice President of IBSEA; Dominique Turner, IB Development and Recognition Manager; as well as several other influential leaders and coordinators from across the region.
The opening ceremony showcased a beautiful and heartfelt chorus performance by students from the association’s participating schools, reflecting the spirit of collaboration, creativity, and global-mindedness that define the IB community.
The day continued with meaningful networking sessions, allowing school leaders, IB representatives, and educators to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore new opportunities for advancing international education in the region.

Following the opening ceremony, Mr. Francesco Banchini delivered an engaging and highly interactive session titled “Navigating Through Leadership Intelligences Towards a Bright Future.”
During the session, he explored the multi-dimensional nature of effective leadership in contemporary educational environments—emphasizing emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence, strategic foresight, and adaptive decision-making as essential foundations for driving meaningful school development.
