Exchange of Experiential Teaching Practices

The Caucasus & Central Asia Association of IB World Schools (CCAAIBWS) successfully held the
first IB Onsite Workshop at the European School in Tbilisi, Georgia. This collaborative event brought together educators from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan to foster a culture of shared learning and growth.

The workshop was organized by CCAAIBWS and hosted by the European School Tbilisi. It was led by Francesco Banchini, the Chairman of CCAAIBWS and CEO & Director of European Azerbaijan School, and Ms. Sophio Bazadze, the Director of European School in Tbilisi. Their leadership showcased a dedication to enhancing educational practices and strengthening ties between member schools in the Caucasus and Central Asia regions.

With IB Workshops, CCAAIBWS aims to promote a dynamic and immersive learning experience for educators. By focusing on experiential learning methods, the workshop encouraged participants to engage in hands-on activities that foster skill development, critical thinking, and new ways of teaching.
