On Friday, February 13th, an engaging online professional development session titled “Development of Service as Action in MYP” was held. The session was facilitated by Yosef Shammas from European Azerbaijan School, who shared valuable insights into strengthening meaningful service learning within the MYP framework.

Participants explored practical approaches to developing authentic Service as Action opportunities, encouraging student initiative, reflection, and community engagement. The session also highlighted strategies for guiding students to connect action with learning, fostering responsibility, empathy, and global citizenship.
