CCAAIBWS Hosts PD Session on Developing an Effective CAS Programme

On March 14, 2025, the Central and West Asia & IB World Schools (CCAAIBWS) organized a professional development session titled “Developing an Effective CAS Programme.” Facilitated by Yosef Shammas from the European Azerbaijan School, the session focused on best practices for designing and implementing a meaningful Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) programme within the IB Diploma Programme. Educators explored strategies to inspire student engagement, ensure balance across CAS experiences, and promote personal growth and reflection. This session underscores CCAAIBWS’s commitment to supporting holistic student development through well-structured IB core components.
