Baku IB Onsite Workshop 2 | CCAAIBWS

Empowering Educators Across the Region

The Caucasus & Central Asia Association of IB World Schools (CCAAIBWS) successfully held the
second IB Onsite Workshop of the year in Baku, Azerbaijan, gathering educators
from across the Caucasus and Central Asia to share innovative teaching practices and strengthen collaboration.

Participants—including teachers, coordinators, and school leaders—engaged in interactive sessions focused on
inquiry-based learning, curriculum design, assessment strategies, and innovative educational technologies.
Hands-on activities and discussions enabled educators to gain practical tools to apply directly in their classrooms.

Led by experienced IB facilitators, the workshop provided a platform for professional dialogue, allowing participants
to exchange best practices and explore new perspectives on teaching and learning within the IB framework.
Networking opportunities strengthened connections among regional IB educators.

“This workshop inspired collaboration and professional growth,” said one of the facilitators.
“It empowered teachers to implement new ideas and strategies in their classrooms while reinforcing regional
connections among IB World Schools.”

The workshop concluded with a certification ceremony, celebrating the engagement and commitment
of all participants. CCAAIBWS continues to support professional development through its ongoing series of
onsite and online workshops, advancing IB education across the Caucasus and Central Asia.
