CCAAIBWS Onsite Workshops, Baku, Azerbaijan

The CCAAIBWS Onsite Workshops were proudly held at Dünya School in Baku, bringing together a vibrant community of educators from across the region.

The day began with an inspiring Opening Ceremony, featuring a warm welcome from CEO of Dunya School, Aygun Gardiner, and thoughtful remarks from the Head of IB Dunya School, Rana Hasanova, Chairman of CCAAIBWS and CEO & Director of EAS, Francesco Banchini, and Khazar University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva. A memorable theatrical and cultural performance by Dünya School students added a special touch to the occasion.

This year’s workshops welcomed nearly 200 participants from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, creating a space for connection among dedicated professionals committed to IB education.

The programme continued with more than 20 engaging workshop sessions, offering opportunities for meaningful professional learning, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative educational practices across the region. The energy and openness throughout the day reflected a strong and growing educational community.
