Strengthening Collaboration Across Regions: CCAAIBWS at the IB Global Conference 2025
This week, at the IB Global Conference 2025 in The Hague, the Caucasus and Central Asia Association of IB World Schools (CCAAIBWS) proudly takes part in the Association Hubs: A Peer-to-Peer Exchange session, where leaders from IB associations worldwide come together to explore how regional collaboration shapes the future of education.
Representing our association, Mr. Francesco Banchini, Chairman of CCAAIBWS and CEO & Director of the European Azerbaijan School, joins Ms. Ghada Dajani, Managing Director of Modern English School Cairo and President of the IB Schools in Egypt Association (IBSEA), to share insights on strengthening professional growth, building impactful networks, and fostering educational innovation across IB communities.
The conference also provided an inspiring opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and leaders who are driving IB education forward, including:
- Vedrana Pavletić, Development and Recognition Lead for the AEM Region at the International Baccalaureate
- Mine Erim, Head of the IB Schools Association of Turkey
- Dr. Jale Onur, IB Recognition and Development Ambassador for Türkiye
- Janecke Aarnaes, Head of School at the International School of Bologna
- Katrin Fox, Senior Manager, IB World Schools Department at the International Baccalaureate
and many other esteemed colleagues contributing to the growth of IB education globally.
We are proud to represent the Caucasus and Central Asia region among such remarkable leaders and remain committed to enhancing collaboration, innovation, and growth within our IB community.
